Phyllis Ann Allen was born on March 16, 1935 in Pasco, Washington to parents, Lawrence and Sylvia Shrake on March 16, 1935. She passed away in Salem on December 16, 2014. She had worked as a legal secretary for many years and had a passion for reading and cooking.
Phyllis was survived by: her sister, Lavonna Dennis of Wilsonville; children, Daniel Allen of Salem, Jennifer Briney of Salem and Belinda (spouse, Donald) Duchateau of Aumsville; three grandchildren, Sarah Sparks and Neil Duchateau both of Stayton and Stephanie Briney of Salem; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1986.
A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Restlawn Memory Gardens in Salem. Assisting the family is Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
