Frances St. John Allen passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: noon Monday, July 3, in Waldrop Cemetery in Panola County.

Frances was born Dec. 21, 1915, in Corpus Christi. Known by all for her constant smile and sweet disposition, Granny will be sorely missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Young Allen Sr., and a brother, Richard St. John.
Survivors: Sons and their wives, Jim and Nancy Allen of Arlington, Pete and Waltraud Allen of Colleyville and Charlie and Amy Allen of Cedar Hill; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and beloved brothers, their wives and families, Hal and Hildejean St. John of Coppell and Buck and Lillian St. John of Richardson.
