Surrounded by her family, Cecilia Mary Adams passed away on the morning of June 23, 2003. The daughter of John and Mary Anne Corrigan, she was born on January 14, 1920 in Boston, Mass. She met her husband while attending Boston University, he was a student at M.I.T.
After graduation they were married in Boston, Mass. on November 7, 1942. They moved around the country and settled in San Diego in 1978 where Cecilia worked for Paul McNally Realty and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her son Linwood P. Adams Jr. in 2000 and will most especially be missed by Linwood P. Adams Sr., her husband of 60 years; her children Sheila Kane, Jan Marszalek, John Adams, Eileen Adams, Kathleen Vallejos, Teresa Adams-Green, Joan Reynolds, Bobbi Adams-Giltner and their families, her 18 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her sister Alice Maher.
Her friends and family will treasure their memories of her loving and generous nature.
Viewing will be at Humphrey Mortuary, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2003. Memorial services will be June 30, 2003, 1 p.m. at the same location.
