Mrs. John Zinn
Charlotte C. Wheeler was born in Benton county, Arkansas, in 1853. She was married in Bates county, Mo. to John Zinn in 1868, and came to Kansas in 1886 with her family. Ten children were born to them, eight of whom are living. She died at her home west of Elk City on Friday, Dec. 6, after a lingering and painful illness. The funeral was held at the home, Rev. J. H. Hubbard conducting the services.
Mrs. Zinn was a good Christian woman, being a member of the M. E. church, and her death is mourned by [a] large circle of friends.
