Ms. Mattie Bell Barnett, 72, of Irvine, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Baptist Health – Richmond.
Ms. Barnett, the daughter of the late Curt and Sarah Allen Barnett, was born in Rockcastle County on August 21, 1942. She enjoyed cross stitching and sewing.
She is survived by her son: Jeffrey Estes of Gainesville, GA; two daughters: Teresa (& Darrell) Culton of Irvine and Elizabeth Estes of Richmond; her brother: Charles Barnett; eight grandchildren: Billywade Brewer, Thomas (& Jami) Culton, Amanda Culton, Ashley (& William) Ratliff, Justin (& Shelby) Culton, Courtney Culton, Katelyn Culton and Jessica Thomas; 12 great grandchildren and her companion of many years, Tim Jenkins.
Ms. Barnett was also preceded in death by her other brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Scaffold Cane Cemetery, Scaffold Cane Loop, Mt. Vernon with Rev. Arthur Ray officiating.
Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
