Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers, died Friday morning at Two Rivers Municipal
Hospital where he had been a patient since Tuesday.
Funeral services will be at 8:45 a.m. Monday at the Deja & Martin Funeral
Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 10:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the
Rev. Joseph Gabryszek officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Two
Rivers.
Michael Deering was born in 1871 in Poland. When a young man he immigrated
to this country and settled at Manistee, Mich. He moved to Two Rivers 55
years ago where he married the former Catherine Dahm, who preceded him in
death eight years ago. After more than 40 years of employment at the Hamilton
company he retired in 1950. He was a member of the Hamilton Goodfellowship
Club, a trustee of Sacred Heart church for a number of years and of the Holy
Name Society of the parish.
He leaves a son, Robert of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. William Hornkohl, Flint,
Mich.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m.
