Obituary for Ellen Caskey

Ellen Jo Caskey, 89, of Coldwater, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at her home.

A private graveside service will be held at Mason Cemetery in Coldwater, arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Jo was born April 28, 1926 in Cooper, Texas, to Clyde & Bonnie (Hickum) Early. She married Duane E. Davidson and later married Charles J. Berry and Reid Caskey. They have all preceded her in death.

Jo was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She had also worked for Coldwater Optometrics.

Mrs. Caskey was a member of the Church of Christ and actively involved in the Elks, along with her husband. She enjoyed playing golf and Bridge with her Bridge group. Jo was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan and loved to read.

Jo is survived by her daughter Susan C. (Joseph) Heinz of Phoenix, AZ, her son Craig E. (Lucy) Davidson of Coldwater, her grandchildren Michelle C. (Brian) Brunette, Todd D. (Shawn) Strong, Danielle M. (David) Taylor, Alicia E. Davidson, Miles Davidson, Zane Davidson and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was also preceded in death by her son Scott B. Davidson and step-father J. Edwin Erwin.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Program.
