Welburn, 74, of College Ave., Somerville, a pioneer in the automobile industry, and retired treasurer and vp of the Cadillac Sales Co. of Boston, will be held Tuesday at 1 in A.E. Long Memorial Chapel, North Cambridge. Born in Three Rivers, Mich., he helped engineer the first Buick in 1903. Before becoming associated with the Cadillac Co. in Boston, he was for seven years service manager of the Packard Automotive co. here [Boston]. He retired several years ago.
