Obit in Boston Herald on 16 Dec 1942: Mrs. Alfred Welburn Dies in Cambridge. Mrs. Alfred P. Welburn, 7 Irving Terrace, Cambridge, died at her home yesterday after a long illness. The funeral will be held at the Crawford Memorial Church of Winchester, where she formerly resided, Friday at 2 pm. Mrs. Welburn was active in the Methodist church and the Eastern Star. She was born in Nevada, Ohio in 1883. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Paul A. Welburn in the Army in Africa; Robert E. Welburn of Cambridge; John W. Welburn of Woburn; a daughter, Mrs. Roger G. Blair of Calif; 3 grandchildren and 1 sister, Mrs. Jessie S. Runnel. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn cemetery, Cambridge.
