KIRSCH - Kevin C., 70, Carrolltown, passed away Feb. 26, 2015, at his home. Born June 27, 1944, in Spangler, son of Hilarion and Agnes (Ludwig) Kirsch. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Germain Kirsch. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Anne M. (Dumm) Kirsch; children, Karl (Lynda) Kirsch and Kenny (Becky) Kirsch, both of Carrolltown; Kim (Mark) Ostrowski, Rochester, Pa.; and Kevin (Kelly) Kirsch, Kurt (Shannon) Kirsch and Keith (Lori) Kirsch, all of Carrolltown; and 13 grandchildren. Brother of Larry Kirsch, Florida; Joe Kirsch, Ohio; and Betty Cavanaugh and Cyrilla King, both of Virginia. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown. A U.S. Army veteran and member of American Legion Post 506, Carrolltown, and VFW Post 7503, Spangler. Retired coal miner and member of UMWA. At the request of Kevin, there will be no viewing or visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 2, at St. Nicholas Church, Father Michael Gabler, OSB, celebrant. Committal, church cemetery.
