Grover C. Jones HARRODSBURG (Spl.) Grove Cleveland Jones, 74, of 1116 Fincastle Road, Lexington, died at 4:45 a.m. yesterday at St Joseph Hospital. He was former manager of the Bluegrass Utilities Co. and at the time of his death, was president of the Ashland Family Laundry. Born in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Bryant O. and Alice Crossfleld Jones.
He was educated in Lexington public schools and was a member of the South Elkhorn Christian Church, the Masonic Order, and a past Potentate of Oleika Temple Shrine. He was also a member of the Lexington Optimist Club a past president of the Lexington Community Chest, former director of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Lexington Country Club, a member of the Board of Curators, and and the Executive Committee of Transylvania College, and was past president of the Lexington Chapter of the American Red Cross. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Florence Huffman Jones, Lexington; a brother, Plummer Jones, Lexington; and two nephews, Plummer M Jones Jr., Lexington, and Welch Jones, Miami, Fla.
Services will be held at the W. R. Milward Mortuary Broadway Lexington at 10:30 am

Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
