A native of Hertford, N.C., she retired after 27 years as a cafeteria worker with Chesapeake Public Schools. She was a member of DeBaun Memorial Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie W. Twine Jr.; two sons, Johnnie W. Twine III and his wife, Betty, and Timothy Scott Twine, all of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Stephanie Jean Erler and her husband, Todd, of Jacksonville, N.C., and Tiffany Lea Twine of Chesapeake; four brothers, James H. Earley Jr. and Fred Earley, both of Virginia Beach, Douglas Earley of Yorktown, Va., and Jerry Earley of Chesapeake; four sisters, Nancy Carter, Lorene Odom and Dianne Miller, all of Chesapeake and Peggy Amato of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, by the Rev. Bill Stokes.
