Ella Mae Delancey
Obit summary; Ella Mae DeLancey was born December 7, 1929 at Ogallala, Nebraska, youngest of five born to Elmer and Elsie (Salmon) Ochsner. She grew up on the family farm north of Grant. She married William F. DeLancey Jr. on June 26, 1949 in Grant. Three daughters were born; Cynthia, Debra and Dawn. In 2002 she moved to Westview Retirement, in 2010 she moved to Lewellen to be closer to her daughter, after breaking a hip she moved to Regional West Garden County Nursing Home in Oshkosh in 2011, where she died June 12, 2015. Survived by her daughters, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine Borgens. In addition to her parents and husband, Ella Mae was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ochsner and two sisters; Linnie McDonald and Margaret Ochsner.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Grant United Methodist Church, burial was held at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery.
