Regina E. Karlheim-Lawrence, 98, of Newark, Del., formerly of Altoona, died peacefully Saturday, May 30, 2015.

She is survived by her son, John S. Lawrence II; daughter, Sharon E. Herdt; “like a daughter”, Barbara A. Lawrence; and son-in-law, James L. Herdt. She is also survived by three grandsons: John S. Lawrence III, David C. Lawrence, and James L. Herdt II; a granddaughter, Suzanne E. Lawrence; three great-granddaughters: Nyah G. Lawrence, Tessa F. Lawrence, and Gina A. Lawrence; a great-grandson, Thomas A. Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews.

A special blessing to Wanda and Paul Lyons Sr. for giving Regina “Quality of Life” for the past seven years. A special blessing for Pastor Jack Little for visits and communion over the past years. Regina was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newark, Del.

In loving memory of Regina, a private family funeral will be held in her hometown of Altoona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Memorial Gardens, St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 701 S. College Ave., Newark, DE 19713.
