Edwin C. Cox passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, June 13, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ed was born April 25, 1944 in Blackfoot ID, to LeRoy and Lucy Cox. He was preceded in death by his only sibling, Marva Jean Grigora. Ed graduated from Pocatello High School and went on to work at FMC until his retirement. In 1997 Ed was awarded the Gold Veteran's Badge for 30 years service to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace workers. He enjoyed the great outdoors and spent time on fishing trips with friends, riding ATV's and was an avid range shooter. He especially enjoyed reloading and sharing his love of shooting with others.
Ed is survived by his wife Patricia and children Machelle (Mike) Stratton, Jeni (John) Giles, Peggy Crider, and LeeRoy (Lori) Cox along with 8 grand children and 5 great grand children.
The family will hold a viewing to receive friends and family on Friday June 19, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints American Falls 4th Ward Building, 650 Pocatello in American Falls. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the same location. The dedication of the grave will follow in Falls View Cemetery in American Falls.
