Monica G. Cooper of Coopersburg, died Thursday, June 4, 2015, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Unit, Allentown. She was 42. She was the loving wife of Daniel Cooper for the past 12 years.

Monica graduated from Quakertown High School in 1990, and graduated from Eastern Mennonite College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics.

She worked as a nutritionist for the Bucks County Health Department for 15 years for both the WIC program and as a health educator.

Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of Jane (Clayton) Cope and the late Richard Cope.

Monica was a member of Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown.
Surviving with her husband and mother are her daughter, Iris, and son, Franklin, both at home; her sisters, Whitney McGrew and her husband, Shawn, and Krystal Johnson and her husband, Mike; her brother, Tom Nguyen and his wife, Mary; her 13 nieces and nephews; her in-laws, Bob and Jeanette Cooper; her brother-in-law, Ben; and sister-in-law, Becky Delp and her husband, Todd.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Swamp Mennonite Church, 2125 Rosedale Rd., Quakertown. Friends and family are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. A light lunch will be served following the service. Interment will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, in Newtown Cemetery.
