Glennon E. Tess, 73, 840 Harrison St., died at 3 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient for seven weeks.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Rev. William Lange officiating with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Mr. Tess was born Dec. 6, 1903, in Almond, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Tess. He married Norma Janz May 25, 1940, in Wisconsin Rapids. He worked for the National Guard as caretaker of the horses. Frank Gill Paint Co., Consolidated Papers Inc., manager of the Biron Dam before his retirement in 1968, and until his illness as a scale attendant at Tork Landfill.
Survivors include his wife: two brothers, Orin, Pinole, Calif.; Allen, Duluth, Minn.; and one sister, Mrs. Jane Koch, Port Edwards. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 a.m. Monday and at the church from noon until time of services.
