Joyce Guyneth Washington (Edwards) passed away on May 25, 2015 at her home in McMinnville. Joyce, daughter of Dovie (Couch) and Cecil Edwards, was born December 17, 1938 in Turkey, TX. Joyce married Raymond Washington December 19, 1953 in Portales, New Mexico.

Joyce moved to the State of Oregon in 1956 and moved to the McMinnville area in 1968. Joyce worked for Boise Cascade and Pacific Reflex Signs. Joyce was partner in Washington Roofing Company, McMinnville and Pearls of Paradise, Dayton. Joyce was a member of Braids and Braves and the Church of Christ. Her hobbies included Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scout Leader, raising birds, stained glass, painting gourds and gardening. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She also enjoyed raising her family and taking care of her family with Ray for 61-1/2 years.

Surviving are her husband, Ray, children, Joyce Orlebeke, Charles Washington, Delores Dietzel, Harold Washington, Linda McGrew, sister Mary Sue Elliott, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Tommy Edwards and son, Alford Washington.
