Carole L. Hughes, age 81, of Canton, passed away Nov. 20, 2014 in Hanover House. She was born April 26, 1933 in Canton, she was a 1953 graduate of Lincoln High School where she had played the bells in band and was a member of Maryland Ave. Baptist Church. She and her husband had played in the Lincoln Alumni Band at the Stark County fair for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Harry A. Hughes; son, Jim (Nadine) Ames of Louisville; daughter, Alanna (John) Pasquale of North Canton and grandchildren, Andrew and Tommy Pasquale and Elizabeth and Tracy Ames.

Memorial service will be held Friday evening at 4:00 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior from 3-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to Great Lakes Caring Hospice., 1530 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44313.
