Hensell states that William married 1st Ann Barnes, buried in Muscogee Co., GA and had issues; 2nd married Gilly Gentry, but no record of issue.....researching.


John Brown states that Uncle Billy followed the Abneys to Chambers Co., AL. & following the death of his brother-in-law, James (h/o Maacha) in 1802, took his newborn son Wiley to raise along with his sons.
