Patricia Ann Sampson, 77, of Beaverton, MI passed away at MidMichigan Health in Midland, MI on Monday, June 1, 2015. She was born in Beaverton on Dec. 23, 1937 the daughter of Gilbie and Garnette (Hudson) Hobbs.
On Nov. 24, 1956, she married the love of her life, Archie Sampson in Gladwin, MI. They shared 58 wonderful years together. Patricia was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and she was employed as a cook, working for O’Dell’s Restaurant and Gladwin Heights Golf Course. She leaves her husband, Archie Sampson of Beaverton to cherish her memory as well as her three sons: Dennis Sampson of Cleveland, OH; Rick (Chris) Sampson of ND; Randy (Linda) Sampson of Dallas, TX. Her children blessed her with five beautiful grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Carolyn Knake of Clio, MI. She is preceded in death by her parents; son: Terry Sampson; brothers: Gilbie Hobbs Jr. and Donald Hobbs; sister: Maxine Hobbs.
Graveside Services were conducted by Elder Dan French on Thursday, June 4, 2015, 1 p.m. at McClure Cemetery, Gladwin, MI. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
