Lola Mae Moore, 89, of Tamaroa, passed away at 1:12 A.M. Wednesday, August 18, 1999 at the Skilled Care Unit of Pinckneyville Hospital.
Lola was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
She was born March 24, 1910 at Tamaroa, the daughter of Warren W. and Anna (Marlow) Ehler. She married Claude L. Moore on October 1, 1932 at Tamaroa and he preceded her in death on December 5, 1996.
She is survived by two sons, Carl L. Moore of Carbondale and Charles L. Moore of Du Quoin; three grandchildren, Michael Moore and wife Tanya of DeSoto, Robin Pierce and husband Ken of Carterville, six great-grandchildren, Shane Moore and wife Steffani, Ryan Moore, Misty Texler and Devon, Ian and Whitney Pierce; one great-great granddaughter, Erin Moore and two sisters, Grace Huggins and Dorothy Ehler, both of Tamaroa.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one infant daughter; seven brothers, Lyle, Paul, Russell, Cecil, Frank, Charles, and Leonard and three sisters, Mabel Hopp, Carmen Harris and Lillian Fisher.
Funeral services were at 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 20 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jerry Aken officiating.
Friends were able to call from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Internment was in the Tamaroa Cemetery.
