Debra Sue Wilfong, 60, of Silva, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born February 14, 1955 at Poplar Bluff, MO to Thomas and Vivian Leach nee’ Johnson. Debbie had past attended Greenville High School. She loved to fish and crochet and she was of the Baptist faith. Debbie is survived by her special companion Joey Atkins of Silva, MO; one son, Charlie Smith and wife Christina of Williamsville, MO; one daughter Cheryl Moore and her husband Terry of Marquand, MO; several grandchildren; one brother, Tommy Leach and wife Tammy of Silva, MO; three sisters, Thelma Marler of Williamsville, MO, Glenda Whitaker of Poplar Bluff, MO, Brenda Barker of Silva, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Willis Leach and Ricky Leach; five sisters, Joyce Johnson, Phyllis Leach, Barbara Leach, Rita Leach, and Becky Leach.
Friends gathered at Old Shiloh Cemetery, Shook, MO, Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. Services followed at 2:00 p.m. at the cemetery with Pastor Leslie Burchard ministering to the family and Charlie Smith, Frankie Chaffin Sr, Frankie Chaffin Jr., Terry Moore, Keith Arnold, and Joey Adkins serving as pallbearers.
