Deborah was the daughter of Richard Bruce and Vera (Elliott) Morris. She graduated from Axtell H.S. in 1969. She married Robert Hansen on Aug. 16,1969. She worked at the Kearney County Community Hospital in Minden. She received her nursing degree from Kearney State College in 1987. She moved to Bertrand & worked at the Phelps Memorial Hospital in Holdrege for 15 years. She was the mother to Jeremy, Jeffrey, & Jenny.
