Russell Eugene Lamb, age 61, of Lambert Road in Berea, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the V. A. Medical Center Lees town Road in Lexington. He was a native of Madison County and had been a truck driver for Paschail Truck Lines for 14 years and had worked for Kroger for 21 years. He was a Navy Veteran and was of the Holiness faith.
Mr. Lamb is survived by: wife, Shirley Damrell Lamb; daughters, Dolly Lamb of Richmond, Deana Lamb of Berea, Carol Lewis of Richmond and Jennifer (Scott) Howard of Berea; sons, Tony (Kim) Lamb of Berea, Russell Lamb, Jr. of Lexington, William Russell (Teresa) Lamb of Berea and Danny Paul Smith of Berea; brothers, Melvin (Delta) Lamb of Paint Lick, Ernest (Rhonda) Lamb of Lexington, Gilbert (Vi) Lamb of Marion, Ohio, Louis (Janie) Lamb of Georgia, Chester (Hazel) Lamb of Appalachia, Virginia; sisters, Irene (Wayne) Hale of Berea, Shirley (Ray) Abney of Berea and Cellie Roberts of Berea. 17 grandchildren and a host of family and friends also survive. Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by: his parents Melvin and Lucy Hollingsworth Lamb; 2 children; brother, Robert Lamb; sister, Mary Lamb.
Funeral services for Mr. Lamb will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. John Dawson and Bro. Chester Lamb officiating. Burial will be in the Damrell Cemetery.
