Eugene McClure Hall of Wesley Avenue died in West Suburban hospital of a heart condition March 13 after being hospitalized only 11 hours.

He was born 80- years ago in Chicago and came here to live with his parents when he was five years old. He was educated in Oak Park schools and was a gardener for the Oak Park park district.

Je was a long-time member of First Congregational church and was a veteran of World War I, having served overseas with the famous Rainbow division.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Judson Hall and remained a bachelor all his life.

he as the uncle of Marion H Frederick and Charles W. Hall.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Postlewait chapel with Dr. Oliver Powell of First Congregational church officiating. Interment was private.
