Frank Warner Jr., 90 of Des Moines IA passed away on June 6, 2015. He was born in Des Moines, IA and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Later, he graduated from the University of Iowa in Political Science. Frank joined the U.S. Army in 1943 and fought in WWII and the Korean War. In 1968, twenty-five years later, Frank retired from the military. Following retirement from the Army, Frank moved to the family home in Urbandale, IA where he lived for 47 years with his wife Lois Ann (Boese) of 63 years. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr. and Irene Warner and his sister Marilyn Warner Soule. Survivors include his wife Lois, son Mike (Barb), grand-daughter Rhiannon Sellman, great-grandchildren Grayson, Saige, Jillian, Juniper, Wesley and niece Cathy Hayman; Brian (Ashley) Adrianse and Matt Adrianse. Frank's sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial gifts may be made to Animal Life Line of Iowa, 4521 SE 14th St, Des Moines, IA 50320.
