HAPPY — Ike Lawson Jr., 71, of Happy died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Happy Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of United Methodist Church of Happy, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.
Mr. Lawson was born Sept. 21, 1943, in Amarillo to Ivon “Spud” and Ruby Pugh Lawson. The family would like to send a special thank you to Baptist Saint Anthony’s Hospice for their loving care.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; a daughter, Amy Lawson and husband Kevin Johnson; a son, Ike Lawson; four grandchildren, Sierra, Lynn, Hannah and Eric; and cousin Jum Murray and family of Miami.
The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church of Happy, P.O. Box 95, Happy, TX 79042.
