A memorial service will be held Friday, June 12th at 2:00PM at Topeka First Assembly of God, Topeka, KS. Inurnment will be Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan, KS at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Midland Hospice, Topeka, KS.
Nancy was born in Monterey, CA to Aubrey Duane and Lois Marilyn Logan on December 7, 1943.
Nancy's grandmother taught her to quilt, tat, and needle craft as a young girl. As a teen, she enjoyed girl scouts and the civil air patrol for the U.S. Air Force. She graduated from Washburn University with a bachelor s and a master s degree. She worked for USD 501 in Topeka, KS as a Special Education Teacher for 20+ years. Along with her degrees from Washburn, Nancy also graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed quilting and crafts but most of all, loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and close friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son, Dwight and wife Jodi; daughter, Lori and husband Jesse Magana; sister, Claire Logan-Dunavan; brother, Vance Logan (Linda); grandchildren, Brittany (Odell) Thomas, Kelly (Amber) Theobald, Cody Theobald, Katie Theobald, Tara Magana and Jaden Magana; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
