Miss Carrie F. Bishop, 81, formerly of 105 Winton Ave., Rothschild, who for the past few years had been residing at the Superior Nursing Home here, died suddenly Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in a local hospital. She had been stricken earlier Sunday.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in Peterson Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Bernard Duffy will say the requiem high mass and burial will follow in Mt. Calvery (sic) Cemetery at Two Rivers.
The body will be in the Peterson Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Joint rosary services by the Ladies Guild and the parish will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Miss Bishop was born Oct. 17, 1882, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Bishop, and came to Wausau in 1903.
She was a member of the Ladies Guild of St. James Catholic Church.
There are no immediate survivors.
