Kenneth E. Tucker Sr. was born May 30, 1931, in Ward, where he lived most of his life., He passed away at the age of 79. He was retired from Valley Camp Coal with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lorena; his wife, Helen; daughter, Diana “Lulu”; brothers, James Henry, Billy and Charles; and sisters, Abbie, Tootsie and Phyllis. At the time of his death, Kenneth was survived by two sons; two brothers; four sisters; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Upon his request, the body was cremated and a graveside service was held at Ward Cemetery.
