She was born Jan. 9, 1902, in Nilwood, the daughter of John and Bessie Hall Stevenson. She married Robert B. White in 1921 in Clinton; he died in 1989. Mrs. White was employed as an inspector with Sangamo Electric for 35 years and was a member of the Sangamo Retirees Club.
Survivors: two sons, James E. White of Springfield and Robert E. White of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ray Stevenson of Springfield. Private services will be held with the Rev. Roosevelt Smith officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
