Obituary:
Arrangements are pending in Scott Funeral Home for Frank M. Tykward, 77, retired rail roader who died unexpectedly in Sheridan Emergency Hospital Monday. Mr. Tykward had made his home the last five years with a daughter, Mrs. Vena Armstrong of Cardwell, Montana. He had been employed 60 years with the Great Northern Railroad as a brakeman and baggageman before his retirement. He settled in Whitefish in 1901. The Smith, Kan., native was born Oct. 8, 1885. He was reared there and married Nora Schaffer in 1904. Besides Mrs. Armstrong there is another daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Gunderson of Oardwell and two sons, Fred of Loreland, Colo., and Wallace of Medford, Ore. Also surviving are one grandchild and several nephews and nieces.
