NILES - Albert J. Weaver, 55. of 1449 Jerome St., was dead on arrival at Pawating Hospital at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, He had been in falling health for three years.
He was born Sept. 5, 1914 in Niles and lived in this area all of his life. On Sept. 9, 1938 in Elkhart, he married Viola Diehl, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert A. Weaver of St. Joseph, and Jackie A. Weaver of Buchanan; two daughters Miss Mary Ellen Weaver of Elk hart and Mrs, Joyce Ann Wiltfong of Niles ; a brother, Earl Weaver of Mishawaka, and a sister.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Pifer Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Putnam, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church officiating, Burial will be In Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home. He was employed by the French Taper Mills, Niles, MI
