She was born in London, England on December 21, 1944, the daughter of the late Joseph O. and Violet Buckley Stoops.
Linda attended Parkersburg High School and was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Fred A. Lutz; one daughter, Christina McGee of Reno, Ohio; three sons, Scott Stoops (Kim) of Parkersburg, Tony Stoops (Teresa) of Marietta, Ohio and Chris Stoops of Belpre, Ohio; one sister, Geraldine Dornick (Bill) of Mineral Wells; one brother, Eugene Stoops (Debbie) of Coolville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Carla of Cumberland, Ohio; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly.
In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by one brother, Austin Stoops.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday,June 15, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, WV., with Pastor Tom Blake officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Evergreen South Cemetery, Parkersburg.
