Pvt. S.S. Becker Killed in France

Military funeral services for Pvt. Samuel S. Becker, killed in action July 30, 1944, in Normandy, will be help at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Brettschneider's Chapel, 49 E. &th St., Manhattan. Representatives of various veterans and patriotic organizations will attend the services, among them members of the Crown Heights Post, Jewish War Veterans, East Side Post of the American Legion, and the Flatbush Chapter 25, Gold Star Mothers, Inc. Burial will be in Cedar Park, N. J.

Private Becker, son of Jacob and Dora Becker of 240 Crown St., was born in Odessa, Russia, in February, 1925, and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, where he was a member of the All City High School Band, and of the soccer team. He entered the armed service in July, 1943.

Besides his parents he is survived by a brother, Irving Becker.
