We are greatly saddened by the unfortunate accident that claimed the life of our beloved and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Janice Sabey Carroll, on June 8, 2015.

Janice was born December 2, 1945 in Murray to Alfred John Sabey and Bertha Lind.

She married Harold Brent Carroll on June 10, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple.

As a graduate of Hillcrest High School and Brigham Young University, she was later a teacher in the Jordan School District for fifteen years.

Janice was a faithful and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served with her husband in the California San Francisco Mission from 2002-2004, the Church Addiction Recovery Program, and a Provo Utah Young Adult Stake.

She will be remembered for her sustaining strength and uplifting influence in the callings she and her husband shared. While she was an officer and teacher in the various Church auxiliaries, her current calling as compassionate service leader fulfilled her joy of selfless service to others.

Janice's greatest sense of purpose was as a loving mother and guiding hand in raising her family. Her exceptional talents as a homemaker and organizer unified the family. In recent years, her greatest happiness has been in being with, serving and supporting her grandchildren. Our fond memories of family traditions, favorite meals, and family-centered activities are her lasting legacies.

Janice is survived by her husband, Brent; their three sons, Stephen, Jason (Stefani), and Tyler (Shanna); fourteen grandchildren; sister, Linda (Lee) Ashton, twin brother, Jerrold (Linda) Sabey; and sister-in-law, Marie Sabey. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wayne Sabey.

Family and friends may call at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East Bengal Boulevard (7600 South), Cottonwood Heights, on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the Lehi Thirty-Third Ward Chapel, 650 East 3200 North, Lehi. Family and friends may be received one hour preceding the services.
Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy.
