Mrs. Harris was born in Scotland County, N.C., on Aug. 10, 1976, to Alan Mason Stubbs and Lee Ragan Stubbs. She was employed as an accountant and licensed insurance agent.
Surviving relatives include her son, Jorden Baylee Stubbs of the home; mother, Lee Ragan Stubbs of Sanford; father, Alan Mason Stubbs and wife Louise (Lou) of North Myrtle Beach; a brother, Kevin Stubbs of Raleigh; a maternal grandmother, Carolyn Ragan of Elon; a paternal grandmother, Hettie Stubbs of Laurinburg; two aunts; a niece, Madison Stubbs of Hamlet and several cousins.
The funeral will be held Wed., April 15, 2015, at 2PM at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Wood and Dr. Calvin Sayles presiding. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1PM to 2PM in the McDowell Hall at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church. The family has asked for no visitations at the home. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate memorials be made to Jorden B. Stubbs either deposited in any NCSECU branch in his account or mailed to Alan Stubbs, 1013 James Island Avenue, North Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29582. Memorials may also be made to Highway to Healing, 1615 S. Third St., Sanford, N.C. 27330. There will be a private burial.
