AGNES M. CARLSON, 97, formerly of Sixth Avenue, died yesterday at the Scandinavian Home, Cranston.
She was the wife of the late Charles Odell Carlson.
Born in Brookfield, Conn., a daughter of the late John and Anna ( Carlson ) Nelson, she lived in East Greenwich for five years, previously living in Warwick.
Mrs. Carlson was a member of Hillsgrove United Methodist Church in Warwick for 70 years, the Foster Grandparents Program of Warwick for 20 years, and the Ebba Brahe Lodge.
She is survived by two sons, a daughter, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Carl and Elliott Nelson, Ella Carlson, and Caroline Loveless.
