He had been on the national executive board of the Isaak Walton League here. Mr. Chandler had retired last year as vice-president of Chandler-Metelman, Inc. He attended Coe College and was a member of Capitol Lodge, Temple Commandery, Za Ga Zig Shrine, and Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene; four daughters, Barbara and Sue both of Des Moines, Mrs. Carol Wolam of Huntington, N.Y., and Mrs.
Judith Warns of Mineral Wells, TX; a sister, Mrs. Peter Topic of Cedar Rapids, and five granddaughters.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Izaak Walton League building fund.
