Michael "Troy" Sayre was the son of Troy Ophus and Lucille (Tenney) Sayre. He was survived by his wife, Anita Cogar, a daughter, one brother, and two sisters. He was co-owner of Sayre Logging Company and a resident of the Etna Community near French Creek.
