Born July 7, 1921 in Portugal, and entered into rest on June 2, 2015 in Fremont, California at the age of 93.
Survived by her children: Jose Brasil (Georgina), and Goretti Silva (Jose); grandchildren: Cristina Peixoto (Joe), Roberto Brasil (Tabitha), Marlene Smith (Charles), Betsy Silva, Susy Brasil, and Steve Silva; great-grandchildren: Joe, Jr., Jason, Julio, Kayley, Kaiden, and Jakob; and sisters: Luiza Brasil, Lucinda Furnas, and Lurdes Alves.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, from 4-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 12, 10:30am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
