Ennis, May 21 – Funeral services for Mrs. George Schwartz, 32, of Ennis, who died in Baylor Hospital, Dallas, Friday night following a car accident, were held here Saturday afternoon with interment in the Ennis Memorial Park. Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz were en route home from Dallas where they operate a café, when their car collided with a stray mule on the Holmes street road. Schwartz sustained minor injuries.
A native of Kaufman county, Mrs. Schwartz had resided in Ennis most of her life.
Surviving are her husband, parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Brigance, Ennis; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Powell, Corsicana; five brothers, Archie Brigance, Corsicana; Jimmie Brigance, La Marque; Louis Brigance, Houston; Clarence Brigance, Dallas, and Clyde Brigance, Seabrook.
