LeROY - Dorothy L. Golden, 82, LeRoy, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 3, 2006) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy. Pastor Brent Anderson will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the LeRoy First United Methodist Church, LeRoy, or to the Oak Grove Cemetery Association.
Mrs. Golden was born April 6, 1924, in Colfax, a daughter of Harry Cam and Vergie Hollers Williams. She married Kenneth E. Golden on May 27, 1941, in Eolia, Mo. He passed away Aug. 12, 1991.
Survivors include a special friend, Merle Hendren, LeRoy; two sons, Gary (Jerrolyn) and Larry (Peggy) Golden, both of LeRoy; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Dorothy was a member of the Empire Club, LeRoy; the LeRoy Woman's Club; the LeRoy Country Club; and the LeRoy First United Methodist Church.
