Born in Dietesheim, Offenbach, Muhlheim am Main, Germany,
although family stories tell of her being born on the boat to America, but "on the USA side".

Arrived in the USA between 1853 & 1856 via Antwerp.

Lived with her son, John, in Woodhaven, Queens in later life. Died at Kings County Hospital from a fractured femur caused by an accidental fall.
