Mrs. Debra Ann Porter Grant, 49, departed this life on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Hospice of Savannah. She was reared in Effingham County, GA, and attended the public schools of Effingham County where she was a 1976 graduate of Effingham County High School, for many years. She was a life long member of Marlow Missionary Baptist Church for many years and she sung in the choir until she got disabled. She was a loving wife and mother. Her family was her pride and joy. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Larry Darnell Grant, Sr. of Port Wentworth, GA; three sons, Larry Darnell, Jr., Louis O'Neal Grant and Ronald Deontrea Grant all of Port Wentworth, GA; two daughters, Joyce Loretta Grant, Shelia Nacole Grant, all of Port Wentworth, GA; five brothers, Larry Porter, Brunswick, GA, Isiah Porter, Jr., Clinton Porter, Donell Porter and Charlie Porter all of Savannah, GA; five sisters-in-law, Darlene Porter, Brunswick, GA, Mrs. Andrea Porter, Mrs. Trice Porter, all of Savannah, GA, Mrs. Almeta Carter of Columbia, SC, Debra Gates, of Savannah, GA; brother-in-law, Kenneth Carter of Columbia, SC; aunt, Martha Crawford of Savannah, GA, two uncles, Willie Porter of Brooklyn, NY and Egar Porter of Waycross, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor, Rev. John Nesbitt, Eulogist, Rev.
