James Calvin (J.C.) Brooks, 82, of Caldwell, died Wednesday , July 20, 2011, at a local hospital of natural causes. At his request no services will be held, and interment will be at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
James was born in Boise, Ida., July 3, 1929, to James and Bertha Brooks. He was the only son after three daughters, Ruby, Leota and Loretta.
James is survived by two sons, James and John; a daughter, Linda; a sister Leota; and two very special friends, Dave and Sharon McCallen.
