Glyndon Alexander, 77, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015.

He was born in Jackson Co. on February 23, 1938 to the late Elmer and Celia Alexander. He was a former employee of Berea College and a lifelong farmer. Mr. Alexander was a member of the 1016 Holiness Church.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 58 years, Mandy Alexander; two daughters, Valerie Alexander and Alesha Pennington (Tim); one grandson, Zach Pennington (Heather); two great-granddaughters, Allison & Madison Pennington; one brother, Earl Alexander (Betty); two sisters, Ella Mae Alexander and Bonnie Alexander (Kenneth Stanifer); as well as a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by: two sons, Daniel & Bruce Alexander; four brothers, Charlie, Willard, Winford & James Alexander; and one sister, Nina Alexander.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Lick Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Tim Pennington, Zach Pennington, Greg Davis, Tyler Cole, Jake Tincher, Cameron Rogers, and Chuck Alexander.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Lamb, Tony Alexander, Bradley Pennington, and Mike Alexander.
