Sarah was the wife of Zelotes Kellogg Dickinson. In my mother's 4 generation chart her maiden name was written "Pickett". The chart was hand written by her granddaughter, Sarah Edith Dickinson Gray, around the time of my mother's birth in 1907. I am still attempting to find Sarah Pickett Dickinson's mother and father or other relatives. It was discovered that there are many other ways to write "Pickett". I still have yet to find documents that will prove Sarah Dickinson's marriage date as well. Perhaps there are none at this time. One very valuable treasure my mother left me is Sarah's handwritten letter written to "Dear children" dated "July the 18 1847" addressed to "William Dickinson" at the "Johnstown Wis. Rock Prairie Post Office". Sarah wrote about the cost of crops, various family members and her heartfelt desire that her children would come home to help their father on the farm. She sends her regards to their son, Reuben and his family, who were also living in Johnstown. This Reuben was the father of Sarah Edith Dickinson Gray mentioned above.
