L. VIRGINIA DAVIS, 99, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Ravenwood Nursing Care Center Hagerstown, MD. She was born on October 7, 1915 in Williamsport, MD to the late Charles Edward and Amanda Doyle Griffin Hose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Lee Davis on September 11, 1996.

She attended Williamsport Schools. She was a Homemaker. Virginia was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD. She was a member of Williamsport Democrat Club, Potomac Post #202 American Legion Auxiliary Williamsport, MD, Capital Chapter 4th Infantry Division Auxiliary, AARP, and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by three sisters Katherine Hose, Thelma Hose and Sarah Hose and six brothers Duward Hose, Charles Hose, Griffin Hose, Gwaylon Hose, Speener Hose and Norman Hose.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home Williamsport; interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport.

CATHERINE ELIZABETH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hose, died at her home in Williamsport yesterday afternoon of heart trouble, aged 8 years and 9 months. Besides her parents, three brothers and two sisters survive. Interment in River View.
